These were actually taken earlier in the week, but it looks to be equally lovely out there today - hooray!
At last, we hit the top of Seventh Heaven on a clear day - though my favorite cinder cone, Black Tusk appears more white and fuzzy than black at the moment .
Rob and I did a memorable three day hike one summer that took us around the base of the cone.
There was a fair bit of wind-driven snow and sleet going on last week, which makes for intriguing formations on the tippy top of the mountain.
I caused more than a little consternation amongst other skiers, who stopped to stare and wonder what on earth there was to photograph!
