I wound three unruly strands into a skein, handpainted them, and then wound them back up into a cake, nearly perishing of anxiety in the process as they looked at every stage as though they had become an impossibly tangled mess. And then it was two petals short - Plan B to be implemented later this week.
Green. I had a go at translating this:
I don't think I quite nailed it (needs a touch of blue in the darker shade), but the result is pleasing, nonetheless.
Total completed since getting the green light for the market, 19 days ago: 14 scarves, 15 shawl pins, 7 silk/metal necklaces, two silver bracelets, the unlined shells of 6 knitted handbags. Also a modest amount of fretting and second-guessing, a considerable amount of dyeing, several unsuccessful experiments, and approximately 8 seconds of housework. I can't ease up just yet, but I think I am on track for a reasonable first impression on the 17th.
