How do you block a super long lace scarf without either low traffic floor space or a spare bed?
A little unorthodox perhaps, but it worked brilliantly. Except I think wires would be in order for the final blocking of the green scarf, since it is not supposed to have a scalloped edge!

Oh I was going to mention the pushpin rusting factor-AND that mom got a set of blocking wires (which I just recently tried) OMG- You must get some-the finished product is worth it!!!!
This album contains yarn that is currently in stock (past colourways may viewed in the "sold" album). I blog the latest colourway in detail each Friday.
New this week: Flirtatious Fir
This is a record of past colourways - the favorites of which will ultimately be repeated... so feel free to voice an opinion! Yarn that is in stock and available for purchase can be found here.
These professionally printed artist cards feature a selection of my own photographs around Whistler, British Columbia. The cards are a standard 5x7 notecard, blank inside, with envelopes included. The box of 12 contains 2 of each image. See the gallery for detail of each image.
The cards may be purchased at my webstore, Impulse of Delight.
A collection of sterling silver shawl pins which also do a marvelous job of fastening sweaters. They even work quite nicely as hair pins (best for reasonably thick hair.) The full collection is available at Impulse of Delight.
Oh I'd been wanting to make that red scarf pattern - it's from the new knitty, yes? It looks great!

Very pretty. Watch out with those pins I am almost 100% sure they rust.
