Four knitted teacher gifts (finished in the wee hours last night) - wrapped (creatively, due to unforseen absence of Christmas paper), carded (paper cut to the tongue during hasty envelope licking debacle), and handed off to hubby for afternoon delivery.
Three Wooly Moguls hat kits reskeined, tagged, and organized for customer rendezvous (be outside the school office at 12:30 sharp. Look for the mustached man carrying yarn.)
Two orders packed up, labelled, handed off for postal run en route to school.
One super-secret envelope negotiated and stuffed for drop-off in town.
The child home sick wants to know why all I EVER do is work. Explain (again) where money comes from, and its correlation to the existence of presents under the tree.
Next..... more reskeining. Photos. Website. I'll let you know when it's ready.
I did leave the house the other day long enough to take these:
It's still cold cold cold up here, but a half frozen river is awfully pretty.
The river is beautiful! Your schedule is tiring just in the reading!

What a lovely walk... (I keep trying to explain to my cat that I have to go away so there's money for rent and cat food. Somehow, he never seems to get it.)

I wish I lived somewhere that had a stream. I suppose the Assiniboine River is something that might count, but it's a ponderous prairie river, not a chattering stream with energy and charm. It's a water source to calm you, not bewitch you.
The top picture is so delightful.

What stunning photos! Thanks for sharing them - where we are Christmas tends just to be a bit drizzley!

I always like your photos so much. Are you thinking of doing note cards or posters or anything?
