You know those fall mornings when you're still wearing a cute little jacket or vest, but it's just nippy enough that your ears will hurt mightily by the time you get back from the school bus? When you're nowhere near ready for a great big winter hat, but a cap leaves those poor ear tips frosty and you long for something light and chic and simple to take the edge off...
Introducing the Hot Chilly Hat, so named because it makes me think of a mug of hot pepper soup on a frosty Market day - the way such a little thing can warm you to your very toes.
It works equally well for men:
and the knit-purl texture showcases a single skein of hand-dyed worsted weight yarn to perfection.
Above is Essential Merino Worsted in Aubergine, and here's a Beary Surprise in progress:
So... the pattern is nearly complete, but I do need a test knitter. Any takers?
Gorgeous!!! Perfect for your yarns.

So, so pretty! I'd love to test knit but I'm committed to a KAL and I'm already the slowest in the group. Maybe another time?

Sure! I'd love to test knit. I'm still drooling and lusting after the beautiful Guinevere colorway yarn too.

If you're not all full up, I'd love to test knit it! *sighs wistfully at that Beary Surprise* I think that's one of my favorite colorways you've created, and that's saying something.

I'd love to if you're still in need of beta testers. I'm on a mission to knit 3 toques and 3 pr of socks for my son and his buddies who have decided to spend a winter in Halifax. I figure they'll need warm knits for their extremities :)

You know I would love to be a test knitter for any of your wonderful patterns!!! Love the idea of a beary surprise hat for my husband (to go with his beary surprise socks)!!!!

Thank you for my yarn and shawl pin. They are both very beautiful. Postage was amazingly quick to Scotland too! :) Oh! I would love to be a test knitter if there is a free space.
