I'm pretty much running on empty these days. Beyond fighting it, past striving, fretting, trying harder... more like a pebble at the bottom of a turbulent stream. Given up on floating, swimming, overcoming, just looking for some equilibrium, something solid to set my feet on, and carry on with what must be done. It may well be the right place to be - it just doesn't come with many words right now.
It's good to have you back on line. We miss your pictures. Try and keep healthy.

Excellent photo.
Somehow, peaceful and balanced. Both what I wish for you and what I needed. Thank you.

You wear many hats every day - mom, dog walker, provider, knitter, yarn dyer, etc. - it's hard to juggle/balance them all. I love your photo essays when words are hard to find. This lovely picture brings peace over me when I look at it. Thank you.

What a lovely picture.
Be at rest... fretting about running to empty uses up so much energy (says the woman who has been doing just that).
Thank you for the peace you share!

Sometimes it's good just to float for a while, get your strength back....

Peace and grace to you! There will be an end to the disquiet. Small consolation while you're in the midst of it, I know. Hope it's sooner than later that you find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Reading your blog always gives me such pleasure. I always find making a list helps me...don't know why, but it does. Be sure to include things you want to do as well as things you have to do. Ticking off a burdensome chore is a great feeling.

'Sounds a lot like my life when my kids were small - it passed and it was totally worth it! Now they often give me energy rather than so much demand it!

Thank you for your honesty which gives me perspective and direction. Sometimes it's hard to remember we are human BEings not human DOings. Blessings be.

Please look after yourself. As one recovering physician to another, you are still recovering. I love your work. The photography is amazing. The interpretation into yarn is beyond inspired and the jewelry is beautiful. Please don't be so hard on yourself

Having only just come up for air myself, I understand just how you feel. The plate-spinning routine of life can be overwhelming, can't it? Sending you blessings over the ocean and praying you find peace soon. x
