random Cindy

That is an outstanding idea and incredible customer service. Since I haven't been knitting (again) that long, it can be hard for me to guess what a yarn is going to look like knitted up. A swatch would be soooo helpful. And different gauges even! I definitely have a problem with that. I think I tend to grab the nearest needle and go with that unless I am using a pattern and have to get gauge. But I'm not making myself try different needles with the same yarn to see how the fabric comes out different based on the gauge. Of course that is a lot touch and feel but you can certainly see some of the difference as well.

I have been slowly working on the same type of project for my yarn but I hadn't thought of doing cables. What a wonderful and informative idea.
