Well, the kids' room isn't perfect, but 10 big black garbage bags have left the premises and I've achieved the major functionality goal that has eluded me for 3 years now, so I'm counting the week a success.
Therefore, to celebrate, and also to perhaps make my yarn storage issues more manageable - the sale is on. It is my second ever sale: 20% off everything in the store until Sunday evening. If you get a hankering for more stuff after placing an initial order, just go ahead and place a new one - I will combine orders and refund duplicate shipping once the dust settles.
Speaking of shipping, the kids are now home on Spring Break, and I anticipate a fairly high workload generated by the sale, so processing / packing / shipping times could be a few days longer than usual.
Congratulations on a job well done! Now if you could expand your area half again perhaps you would solve your storage problems. Enjoy Spring Break with the children.

Thanks so much for the sale. I was tempted by so many things but kept telling myself I had to leave some for everyone else - I have my own yarn storage issues. I hope you feel lightened (or will once the yarn goes out) and freshly inspired to create more.

Talk to me about how you did it. I'm eventually putting everything into a truck and moving, and I'm trying to view this as an opportunity to leave only with the things that matter to me. It's sometimes hard to figure out what they are, and that "will I ever be able to afford it again" thing is weighing very heavily on my mind.
I did it once when I moved down the street, but now that T and I are in a smaller place, I still feel choked by the stuff.
